How Can severe Itchy Hives Be Treated?

hi doctor, thank you for taking time for my questions. i have a bad case of breaking out in hives from my head to the bottom of my feet. i was prescribed lasix to release fluid that may be caused by a six day pack of steriods. i feel horrible irritable. i cant seem to loose the weight now and im trying hard. My double knee replacement surgery is on June 5 2017. im 47 and 350 lbs. so depressed!

Hi,

The symptoms you are suffering looks like severe allergic reaction most probably from taking Lasix. You should immediately stop taking it. Go to ER for Epinephrine and Prednisone injections. They will probably do you another type of diuretic to get rid of the excess of fluid in your body.
